At EVHA, we often talk about innovation. But the best way to evaluate a new technology is to see it in action.

That is why EVHA President Seppe Thys, Hamster Cleaning and Vice President Dalimil Petrilák, Alkion service recently visited Dry Ice Finland to experience the new Dry Ice Crawler 1.0 firsthand.

Developed over the past four and a half years, the Crawler has been designed to provide a simpler, more versatile and highly efficient robotic solution for duct cleaning – including one of the industry's most demanding applications: kitchen grease extract systems.

The robot has already been successfully tested in real customer environments, and the first commercial version is now ready for market introduction.

The visit gave both EVHA representatives the opportunity to see the robot operating in practice, explore its capabilities and discuss the technology directly with its developer, Lauri Soratie.

We are also pleased to confirm that Lauri Soratie will join the EVHA AGM 2026, where participants will have the opportunity to see the Dry Ice Crawler in action, ask questions and experience the technology up close.
