The RoomVent 2026 conference represents the 18th edition of a prestigious international series that began in 1987 in Stockholm. Since then, it has traveled around the world and has established itself as a leading platform in the fields of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and indoor environmental quality in buildings.

In 2026, this important event will take place in Prague and will offer an exclusive space for meetings of designers, researchers, engineers, and other professionals from practice. Participants will have a unique opportunity to share expertise, present innovative solutions, and discuss the latest developments and future directions of the field. Approximately 300 international experts are expected to attend.

Currently, around 230 scientific and 80 technical papers have been submitted. The submitted works will undergo a double-blind peer review process, in which each paper is evaluated by two independent expert reviewers to ensure a high professional standard, quality, and contribution of the presented research.

Accepted and presented papers will be published in a peer-reviewed conference proceedings issued within the E3S Web of Conferences, which is indexed in international databases.

In addition to the technical program, the conference also includes a social program. On the second day of the conference, a formal gala dinner will take place at the Art Restaurant Mánes. On the final day, guided technical tours will be organized for participants, including: the National Theatre, the Prague Congress Centre, the National Technical Library, and the University Centre for Energy Efficient Buildings.
