EVHA Board Pre-Visit 2026: Two Days of Planning the Future of Our Association

On 27–28 May 2026, the EVHA Board met in Bardolino, Italy, for a two-day working pre-visit in preparation for the EVHA Annual General Meeting 2026.
The meeting brought together EVHA Board members:
Seppe Thys, George Friend, Dalimil Petrilák, Lauris Krūza, Kimmo Haapalainen, Andrea Casa and Marcela Nacházelová.
Over the course of more than 11 hours of intensive meetings, the Board reviewed the Association's current activities, defined priorities for the coming months, and made a number of strategic decisions that will shape EVHA's future.
The agenda covered a wide range of topics, including:
• Final preparations for EVHA AGM 2026
• Development of the AGM program and vendor exhibition
• Future development of EVHA Training & Certification
• Membership compliance and certification procedures
• Updates to EVHA guidebooks and training materials
• New website features
• International cooperation
• Membership growth and vendor engagement
• Long-term strategic planning for EVHA
While the official meetings lasted two full working days, many of the most valuable discussions continued during breakfasts, lunches and dinners. These informal conversations often help transform ideas into practical initiatives that benefit the entire membership.
The outcomes of the meeting will be reflected in the coming months.

Our Board members are not employees of EVHA. They volunteer their time, knowledge and experience alongside managing their own businesses and serving their own customers.
